There is a scratch in the number 2 cylinder of the block. Defiantly, not cool. I'm not sure why the machinist would deck, hone, and prepare a block that couldn't be salvaged. I'm going to get a second opinion, since I'm not a professional engine builder.

I just finished writing a three sentence paragraph about not having time to work on the Trans Am. However, the program froze and destroyed my 30 second masterpiece. So.. uh. I haven't set up my garage yet and I've been busy with the move to the new house/shop. The shop is awesome and big enough to have high speed creeper and rolly chair races. The house has a kitchen, rooms, and windows, you know the normal stuff. THE GARAGE IS HUGE!

Hurricane Rita has cause some minor changes in deadlines and such. We evacuated. Yes, I almost died escaping Rita. I stayed up all night plywooding our windows and left the next day. We headed west taking back roads to Austin then slept 2 hours. Left to Dallas to my Uncle's House and got a good night sleep. When we found out the hurricane missed us and only was a category 3. We got our farm road map and headed back on the empty back roads.

I have just started moving into my new house and shop. I have to finish this project as soon as possible so I can move the car out to the new shop.

One side of the new front suspension is finished. However, it is was finished with the wrong coil-over shock. #$%@! Yes that means I have to take it apart send it back and install the new part. I have started working on the write up for this project.

School started a while back(10th). I get out at 12:45 to work on the car though(Work Release Rocks!!!). The Rotating assembly has been ordered. The front end rebuild was moving along until the garage was turned into a storage area for unwanted stuff. Got to start cleaning out other people's stuff. When has a garage ever been used for storage. It's Ridiculous.

Going on vacation to California and Phoenix no changes to the website until the 25th. Coil over suspension arrived along with the Aluminum Radiator and Head Porting Kit.

Everything is under construction, the site and the Trans Am. The engine block was just dropped off at a machine shop for work.
